Collection consists of one manuscript and one page proof version of Hall's book "A Place of Her Own: The Story of Elizabeth Garrett," and one letter concerning its publication. Garrett, the daughter of Sheriff Pat Garrett, was a noted blind singer in the early 20th century in New Mexico, and wrote "O Fair New Mexico," which became the official state song.
